We stalked the weather all week and 24 hours before the session we decided to postpone due to the rainy forecast. Of course we woke up that morning and the forecast completely changed so it was back on. Then it decided to rain allllll day, until about 2 hours before photos. I literally pulled in the parking lot just as the sun peeked out from behind the clouds. Hallelujah! They were troopers in the mud but I don’t even think you can tell it was such a gross day. Their joy and excitement to meet their first born was so evident. The Tuckahoe Plantation never disappoints, offering limitless locations. Bonus points for hitting it the week the wisteria was in bloom – Ah, the smell of sweet tarts! I told Maggie that everyone needs to wear this dress for their maternity session. I just love the lace, scalloped edges, and of course PINK for their baby girl! I couldn’t just pick a few for social media and thought this session deserved it’s own blog post! Enjoy the highlights from this sweet couple’s maternity session. Can’t wait to get their baby girl in front of my camera next.
